It's been a whirlwind year for me so far in 2009. In March I attended the Published Author's Special Interest chapter's bi-annual conference in NYC. While there I had an opportunity to meet with several agents and an editor who expressed interest in my contemporary series. In June I attended the Capital Region RWA chapter's annual conference in Albany. July had me in D.C. for RWA's annual conference. But the biggest event came on August 3rd when my first grandchild, Nicholas Daniel made his entrance! And in September I'll be welcoming a new daughter-in-law into our fold with the wedding of my youngest son.  In October I'll be attending NJRWA's 25th annual conference where I'll be presenting my new workshop; Gone Fishing: How to Catch an Agent. On a side note the romance publishing industry is staying strong in this weak economy. So keep buying and reading your favorite authors!
